What is this site?
Prefix Press intends to put forth ideas, plans, and documents relating to current research endeavors, results, and questions warranting further insight. It serves a forum for collaboration between research groups and individual project matters for the benefit of the researcher. lingprefix, who operates this site, is a student in Linguistics, Computational musicology, and cognitive science. They are working to develop tools which assist in understanding the semantic interfaces between humans, cognitive architectures, and software systems. His research interests includes developing event-driven A.I. planning systems, privacy engineering, natural language processing, music cognition, and democratic organization. As a student researcher within the iSchool, Linguistics, and the Office of Equity, Inclusion, & Title IX, lingprefix continues to advocate for underrepresented student groups to challenge systematic effects of implicit bias within the university communities.
